If you’re searching for an effective means to prevent bruising, why not consider performing aerobic exercises? You’re probably confused at what relationship exists between aerobic exercise and bruise prevention. But as you reach the end of this article, you’ll see how exercising can help keep you from developing bruises. So read on, and keep those bluish and painful skin blotches at bay.
But before we begin, it’s necessary for you to understand what causes you to develop a bruise in the first place. You may have blood vessels in your skin that can get easily broken if you hit yourself against something hard. When this takes place, blood will escape and diffuse into the surrounding tissues. And this is what causes that purplish or bluish discoloration. Medically, it’s called a contusion, and it’s related to how you react physically to local traumas.
Now let’s discuss how performing aerobic exercises can save yourself from getting a bruise. As you get older, your skin becomes more fragile and thinner. Because of this, you’re easily susceptible to developing a bruise. Moreover, your blood vessels’ walls get thinner as well, and this makes them more prone to being broken, allowing blood to leak out.
By doing regular aerobic, or cardiovascular, exercises, your blood vessels’ walls are strengthened. In addition, your entire circulatory system also benefits from the aerobic activities. Blood circulation in the skin will also be improved, supplying more oxygen and essential nutrients to it. This will greatly improve the skin’s overall quality, and help it speed up the healing of an injury to it.
Strengthening of your muscles and improvement of your flexibility are two more reasons that regular aerobic exercising can help reduce bruising easily. Primarily, being physically strong will help prevent you from injuring yourself. With sufficient balance and strength, tumbling down or knocking yourself against something can be pretty much prevented. As the physical benefits of working out are manifested, your clumsiness will be significantly reduced.
In picking the right aerobic exercise for you, there are some things you might want to consider. Your first consideration is your present fitness level. If you haven’t been physically active for some time now, start with an easy routine. A long walk is an excellent pick, and it’s low impact too, so there’s little risk of getting injured. A few minutes of walking is ideal in the beginning. Gradually lengthen the time you spend walking as your stamina increases.
Consider what activity is fun and appealing for you. This is very important, because it will keep your motivation up. There are a lot of exercises for you to choose from. If you love water and sun, swimming might be just right for you. It’s great for the muscles and joints, but doesn’t place too much stress on them. Sprinting is an excellent suggestion for those in great physical shape. Just make sure that you own quality running shoes and pick safe tracks for your running. Dancing, cycling, and playing Frisbee are some other examples of aerobic exercises that you could choose. You could also buy a fitness machine for home use, or simply hit the gym to use one.
You can definitely help prevent bruising easily by taking up an aerobic exercise program, and positively committing to it. Improved skin quality, a strengthened circulatory system, and renewed flexibility are some of the benefits that you can enjoy. What’s more, it’s also a great way to trim your waistline. Fitness experts suggest doing aerobic exercises that last for a minimum of 20 minutes, at least 5 times a week. For some people, practicing aerobic exercise 3 times a week is sufficient to receive the bulk of the benefits we’ve discussed. The addition of the Bruises Be Banned daily supplement program to your exercise routine may be the final step in your finally be able to prevent bruising altogether or stop bruising completely.

First of all however you need to remember that you should not use certain treatments if you are bruised on the face, around the eyes, and around the nose. Also you need to make sure that you do not drain out the blood by inserting any sort of sharp object or cutting yourself where you are bruised. So what are the things that you can do?
The first thing to try would be in getting rid of the swelling in order to try to reduce the pain and the bruising at the affected area. This can be used by getting ice compressors and pressing them against the bruise. You should get yourself a towel and wrap some ice within it, then you should press this against the bruise for about 15 minutes every hour. If you do this all day for a couple of days, you should see that the bruising will go down immediately.
In much the same way it is also possible to use hot compresses as well. You could use a hot water bottle and use this on the affected area, or could simply wet towel and warm it up in the microwave or by boiling it over the hob. If you do this then you will also have the similar effects that you might see from using a cold compress, and the swelling and pain should start to diminish.
Last of all, it is also very good idea to make sure that your diet is as good as it can possibly be. Bruising can also be caused by having a deficiency in vitamin K as this can cause the blood to not clot as well as possible. The United States FDA notes products containing alpha-hydroxy acids, or AHAs for short are employed in anti-aging skin protection cosmetics because they are responsible for exfoliation of surface skin. The effect depends on the concentration of AHAs in the products together with the consequences of other ingredients.
AHAs work in the pores once taken into the skin and start to cause the skin to dump the top layer of dead epidermal (skin) cells. As the dead cells at the ‘top’ of skin are removed, healthy new cells from deeper layers come to the surface. Low concentrations (say 5-10%) are usually the staple of the heavily marketed and highly profitable over the counter creams and generally contain glycolic acid, one of the 5 kinds of AHAs.
Higher concentrations may be utilized a process using far higher concentrations of AHAs, dubbed ‘the chemical peel’. The British Association of Cosmetic Doctors counsel higher concentration peels should be undertaken only as a professionally administered treatment to protect the patient. It states the treatment can definitely help recharge skin, but will still not give a fifty year old the skin of a twenty-five year old. The treatment produces non permanent redness and can have side effects like cold-sore flare-ups.
The FDA explains there’s a lack of strong research into the long term result of AHAs on the skin from everyday over the counter stuff containing them. Giselle Mir, a UK Cosmetic Scientist with her own cosmetic line, goes a stage further with criticism of the mechanism of AHAs on the skin. She has stated to the press she suspects the creams actions simply irritate the skin, ensuing finally in greater moisture loss from the top layer and early aging.

The presence of wrinkles on our faces is commonly greeted with sighs of dismay. Yes, wrinkles can mar an otherwise smooth and lovely face. The bad news is that there is no escaping the wrinkles. They will come. We cannot stop time and it’s also hard to avoid our environment – which are laden with pollutants that promote the onset of wrinkles.
You see, our skin dries out and becomes thinner as time passes by. This is because the skin produces less collagen and elastin. The good news is that we can delay the appearance of wrinkles.
Moisturizers are here to rescue you! These ensure that our skin has enough moisture so that we are able to preserve our skin’s youthful looks. Making use of an anti-aging moisturizer should be an integral part of our beauty regimen if we want glowing and velvety skin.
Now, how do we choose the moisturizer that is right for us? The first step is to check the label and see what ingredients are used in making the anti-aging moisturizer. A good moisturizer should have key ingredients that have been proven to successfully ward off wrinkles, or lessen its appearance at the very least. Some ingredients to look for include collagen, elastin, Vitamin C and vitamin E. Also, the anti-aging moisturizer should help protect the skin from the sun’s harmful effects. The SPF or Sun Protection Factor, gives an indication of the level of protection a certain product can provide. Of course, a better moisturizer should have a fairly high level of SPF.
Moisturizer should feel good on the skin. A red flag would be a stinging feeling. This could mean that the moisturizer has harsh chemicals that can harm the skin. Be sure that the moisturizer is made of gentle and natural ingredients.
When applying moisturizer, apply it gently, using upward strokes. This will give the skin a massage that will help increase blood circulation. Apply the moisturizer in the morning, just before applying make-up. During evenings, the skin should be thoroughly cleansed and then that’s when moisturizer should be applied.

Have you noticed a few new wrinkles lately? If so, you might want to consider getting a Botox treatment. This is a very effective procedure when it comes getting rid of wrinkles. It’s also very popular with the rich and famous. It’s no where as expensive as it used to be when it was first introduced and many women swear by the results.
If you don’t know exactly what Botox is, it’s actually the brand name for the substance made from a protein found in botulism toxin. It’s injected beneath the skin and will paralyze the muscles. It reduces the appearance of wrinkles and is one of the most popular treatments today in many med spas. When you compare the cost to cosmetic surgical procedures, Botox is much cheaper.
This substance is usually placed under the skin around the forehead and the mouth. It’s very good for reducing the large wrinkles found in between the eyebrows and those that run from the mouth to the noise. The results are so good, that many women are holding a Botox party as the time nears for another dose.
This treatment takes only about ten minutes. Botox is the only kind of this type of treatment that is currently approved by the FDA. The results are usually visible for three to six months. If you don’t like the results you got from it, take some comfort in knowing it won’t last forever. However, you’ll need to get more Botox done about three to six months to keep the wrinkles gone.
Probably one of the great things about this treatment is that there is no downtown. You can return to work the same day. Many women get this procedure done on their lunch break. There is usually only minor pain during the injection. The injection site is also not visible after just a few hours. You’ll see the full results within just a day or so.
Most people find they really like the results they get from Botox. It only takes three or four sessions a year to keep your wrinkles at bay. It’s also nice to know that it’s completely reversible if you don’t like the results. As more men turn to Botox to turn back the hands of time, it’s only a matter of years before this treatment is as common as coloring your hair. In most cases, you’ll be so pleased with the results that you will be back for more.
