Ok so I’m 14 and my dad surprised me with a 10 time tanning package.
I can’t turn it down. I kind of still have a tan from december when I went.
only like real little though. Maybe a shade?
Anyways, i don’t want face wrinkles!! What can I do? If i use sunblock then my face will be white? And any good lotions for indoor.
And afterwards to also help prevent them.??
No rude-ness please i know its bad for you thats why i’m paranoid.

  1. You could always do sunless tanning. Most tanning places have that as an option and there aren’t any UV rays to damage your skin. Good luck.

  3. Tanning is always going to screw with your skin.
To help it not suck so badly, use sun block, lotion, and moisturizer(ect.) as much as possible.

  4. Overexposure causes damage to the skin. That being said. Moderation is the key. A little color won’t do huge amounts of damage. Don’t get burnt.Keep in mind that repeated tanning will cause irreversible damage, but you are 14 so that isn’t a huge issue at the moment.

To prevent the damage moisturize, used a low spf and your face will have some protection.

  5. You can’t, it’s completely un preventable while tanning. You use anti ageing cream daily though to prevent fast ageing, appearance of wrinkles etc,

  8. being in the sun is eventually going to take its toll. i only tan in the warm months and use extra moisturizer in the winter. i give my skin a break. i use lots of moisturizer while tanning but heredity has a lot to do with it. if mom and grandma have a lot of wrinkles, then guess what. of course if dad dont you could take after him or visa versa. you either want to tan or you dont. but you are only 14, why worry now.

  9. There’s no way around it. Ultraviolet light, whether from the sun or the tanning salon, will damage your skin, especially if you tend to be really fair. Sun screen may slow it down a bit, but you’ll still experience its effects. So called "anti-aging" creams are more about marketing and the results are cosmetic; they don’t prevent or cure anything. If I were your dad, I wouldn’t have given that as gift to you. It’s fun for the moment, but tans eventually fade away; the leathery effects of ultraviolet light on your skin, you carry forever.

  10. You will not get wrinkles from one use. Tanning will make you skin leathery if you do it all the time for a long period of time like every week for years. There’s nothing wrong with doing it every once in a while.

  11. tanning is going to cause pre-mature aging there is no way around that. You need to just accept it.

  12. use sunscreen on your face, it might be slightly paler, but it’s naturally that way anyways. also put a light sunscreen, like spf 10 or so on your chest and butt, they tend to get burnt a lot.
Also don’t go in for a long time, and when you’re done, make a slight comment something kinda normal about you worrying about wrinkles and stuff, that way it doesn’t happen again

  13. you can’t. it’s impossible. Tanning is a form of skin damage. Your skin is tries to protect itself by producing melanin, which makes your skin dark. The more damage you do, the darker you get. The only way to stay looking young and healthy is to prevent the skin damage.
