Chemical peeling continues to grow in popularity throughout the world and the diversity of ingredients used for this purpose are becoming more and more every day. The goal, to make the skin smoother, even so in the structure and color, and less wrinkled.

Anesthetic is generally not necessary for most chemical peel types, although for deeper peel treatment sometimes local anesthesia is given to reduce the stinging sensation. Various chemicals can be used, either together or in combination with laser peel treatments. These methods have been developed to cope with different sensitivity of the skin on different parts of the body. Some areas are more sensitive than others, so the chemical peel solution has to be prepared accordingly.
